Acceptable Use Policy
1. What this covers
This policy applies to everyone who buys from runopass.com or asks us to check a website. It is part of the Terms of Service.
2. What you may do
Ask us to check a website that you own, or that you are authorised in writing to test.
3. What you may not do
- Ask us to check a site you do not own and are not authorised to test.
- Probe, overload, attack or try to break into any site or network.
- Try to get around a login, a paywall, a rate limit or a robots.txt rule.
- Point a check at a private, internal or loopback address.
- Collect personal data from the sites you check.
- Resell, transfer or give credits to someone else; credits are for your own use.
- Use the service for anything unlawful, or to harass anyone.
- Give false ownership or identity information.
4. What we may do
If we believe this policy is broken we may throttle, pause or close the order, refuse a refund for the affected order and, where the law requires, pass information to the authorities. We tell you why unless the law forbids it.
5. Report abuse
If a check from us reached a site you run and you did not expect it, or you see misuse, write to abuse@runopass.com with the time, the URL and the log lines. We answer within 2 business days and, if needed, block the target from future checks.
6. Changes
When this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
